We meet on the third Thursday of each month in Clifton Hampden Village Hall. The cost of membership is £54 a year with a pro-rata fee for those who join later in the year.

Meetings are reserved for members only, however, there are meetings where guests and even men are invited if appropriate. The charge for guests is £5.00.  If you would like to visit to see if you would like to join, you're welcome to attend any of our evenings.

March 19 2026 is our 80 anniversary celebration and will be our most exciting evening of the year with a 1946 post war theme where we will look back at the last 80 years and look how the fashion has changed.
Our meeting will start at 1930.

Anni Byard: My Career in Ruins 
Anni Byard MCIFA is a well known Oxfordshire Archaeologist. Anni graduated from Liverpool University and worked in commerical archaeology before working for the British Museum PAS for eleven years as the Oxfordshire & West Berkshire Finds Liaison Officer. She is currently working part-time as a Finds Specialist with Oxford Archaeology whilst completing her PhD with the research title of 'The Iron Age to Roman Transition in Britain from the perspective of coin hoards'. She holds an MSc in Applied Landscape Archaeology from the University of Oxford and is a full Member of the Chartered Institue for Archeaologists. 
 
Anni is held in high esteem by the metal detecting community working as a freelance finds specialist at competitive rates and continues to work with local groups, give talks and author articles on small finds.

Anni's talk will certainly be worth listening too.  Everyone welcome, please RSVP on our contact page.
